Relationships of Trust and Goodwill
Community Relations involves a wide range of initiatives that allows Devon to be an integral part of the communities in which it houses major offices and operations.
To build a relationship of trust and goodwill in the communities where Devon operates, the company established an Ambassador Program in the United States years ago. Through the program, employees interact with the public and establish contacts with key public officials in the community to educate them about Devon and its operations.
Devon also holds open houses around its Canadian operations to disseminate information about activities and programs as well as introduce company representatives to the community.
We understand that the people who live and work near our drilling activities are our neighbors. Our number one priority is for their safety as well as the safety of our employees and the proper attention to the environment surrounding these operations.
